We explored how perception and mindset can affect our ability to communicate, innovate and achieve the highest potential.

Just 5 kids who chose to never grow up!

This week, I joined a group of magicians on a trip to Niagara Falls to meet Piff the Magic Dragon and watch his show at the Fallsview Casino.

It's funny; most people see magicians as smiling, confident performers. However, they can't imagine the amount of work that happens behind the scenes and the energy required not only to perform on stage but also to build a viable business and life.

Many kids abandon their dreams and hobbies somewhere along the way to adulthood, and there are a million reasons to give up.
I have so much respect for those who have the courage to at least give it a proper try.

The doubts, anxiety, fears, highs and lows, imposter syndrome, and rejections – there is no shortage of forces that will make you want to throw in the towel and get a "real job."

Being a professional magician requires much more than just talent. It demands entrepreneurial skills, a willingness to constantly learn new things, an ability to perform under pressure, and the capability to solve challenges in real time with a smile on your face.

Needless to say, spending the day with these professionals was inspiring and motivating. I'm so grateful to be able to embark on this journey.

Super #Grateful! 🙏 Last week’s CSE Live event was an incredible 3 days. A massive jolt of creative, positive, and motivating energy that we’ve all needed.

First of all, I am very grateful to Jason Koop and Stacy Wyatt (@canadianspecialevents) for giving me the opportunity to present my unique keynote on Day 1 and to perform at the big awards gala on Day 3. I can’t express how much relentless effort I’ve put into this keynote over the past year and a half, and to be able to showcase this presentation in front of event planners was an unbelievable opportunity and experience.

I can’t imagine the effort and hard work put in by CSE producers such as @dawatsonbaker, and @p.diazxm, who have made the experience super easy for speakers and attendees. Real professionals who help solve difficult and unexpected challenges on the go. If only people saw the work they’ve put in behind the scenes! 😅

I’ve also met a lot of wonderful people at this conference. Creative, intelligent, and fun people doing interesting things in the events space. Met strangers that quickly became friendly such as @javakatz, who spent his valuable time with me and my talented friend Dmitry of @mind_body_lifestyles , a super genuine person who shared some wisdom and interesting perspectives with us.

I received some great advice and feedback from people like @kerisquared and @dustinwestling at the opening party that left me with some things to think about. Also, I also want to thank @hailey_dawood_ , you know what that’s for 😊 and congrats on your team's awards!

Needless to say, THIS is why we need live events. It’s events like CSE Live that help make valuable connections, launch new ideas, and spread positive energy through the events industry. Can’t wait for CSE 2024. So so grateful!

Grateful for the opportunity to stand on that red dot. 🔴

Had a wonderful time at Tedx at Guelph University today. Met great people, heard thought provoking ideas, touching stories and got to present mine too.

This was a really challenging but valuable experience. I'm really thankful to the team at @tedxguelphu - kind, fun team people and real professionals. They put on a really good event!
